Japan Agriculture Exchange Council has agreed to take Nepalis to Japan as trainee workers. The Council will receive labourers from the manpower companies associated with Japan International Training Co-operation Organization (JITCO).
Japan is seeking Nepali manpower in the field of agriculture, fish farming, pig farming and many more, said Son Suzuki, the chairman of the council. “We are visiting various places to study the feasibilities,†said Suzuki.

They are conducting research tour in Nepal Agriculture Research Council (NARC), Rampur Agriculture Campus and other districts.
The council has been taking workers from countries like Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines so far. However possibility of Nepali workers becomes high after the completion of the tour, said Suzuki. The council is supposed to submit the report to the Ministry of Agriculture in Japan by mid November.
