King’s College, one of Nepal’s established institutions in entrepreneurship and business education, is all set to host the Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum (NEF) on July 26 and 27.
The international conference, now in its second edition, will focus on building a sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem and feature over 25 speakers from Nepal, Finland, Japan, India, Bangladesh, and Kosovo.
The two-day event aims to gather academicians, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss sustainable entrepreneurship.
The organizers say the forum will facilitate knowledge sharing between academic research and practical business experience to promote innovation and economic growth.
“Such a conference fosters innovation, supports economic growth, tackles unemployment, and promotes sustainable development, especially for young entrepreneurs in a developing country’s context,” said Chittaranjan Pandey, conference convener and professor at King’s College.
The forum plans to highlight sustainable business practices aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with sessions including discussions, paper presentations, showcases, and networking opportunities.
Organizers expect more than 200 participants, including local and international entrepreneurs, researchers, government officials, and students.
