March 30 : Laxmi Bank has opened new branches in Birendranagar, Surkhet and Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur. According to the bank, the opening of the two branches has strengthened its position in mid-west and far west regions.

With the new openings, the total number of branches of the bank has reached 49, while it has two extension counters and 62 ATM. “Our aim is to search new markets and satisfy the demand of increasing business services,” the bank said in a press statement. Laxmi bank has been providing Srijansil Savings Account, term deposits, home and auto loans, small and middle business loans and tech friendly banking services.
