Nepal’s reputed education institute White House Educational Network has joined hands with Little Angels School as the strategic partner. The network has done so by selling 50 per cent of its shares to Little Angels. Although the decision was made around a year ago, the legal procedures have just begun. “The college will start with new management from mid November,†said CEO of the network Yubaraj Sharma. Little Angels accepted to buy 50 per cent of the shares assuming the total property of the network to be Rs 450 million. This is one of the biggest transactions
in Nepal’s private sector education industry.
After Little Angels becomes a partner, an additional Rs 250 million will be invested in the networks to promote WhiteHouse as a University. He said that initiatives are taken for affiliation from international Universities and adding academic programs. “We are planning to develop White House as a world class University,†he said. Founder Principal of Little Angels Umesh Shrestha, Director of Xavier Academy Dr S R Mathe and IT professional Yadav Pradhan are among the new investors who will invest in WhiteHouse.
