August 8:  Lumbini Academy College has appointed Miss Nepal 2016 Asmi Shrestha as its goodwill ambassador. Shrestha and managing director of the college Rabin Chandra Koirala signed an agreement to this effect amid a function at the Chuchhepati-based college on August 7. Koirala expressed his belief that the appointment of Shrestha as goodwill ambassador will help the college students in extra curricular activities. During the occasion, Shrestha said she would help in the personality development of the students of the college.
