January 24: Manaslu Bikash Bank has started operation of a new branch at Manakamana Bazaar, Gorkha. Ishwor Malla, a local social worker inaugurated the new branch amid a program on January 23.

"The bank will modify its services as per the time. It will invest in local productive sector by collecting capital scattered in the village," said Bijay Malla, BOD Chairman of the bank. The bank which is operating in three districts including Gorkha, Tanahun and Chitwan is merging with Om Development Bank.
