National Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. has joined the Citizen Investment Trust’s (CIT) Gratuity and Pension Scheme.

An agreement to this effect was recently signed by CIT Executive Director Parbat Kumar Karki and National Laghubitta CEO Ram Bahadur Yadav, enabling around 600 employees of the institution to enrol in the scheme, CIT said in a press note.

The scheme allows participation from organised institutions and their employees. Under this arrangement, institutions can manage their gratuity funds on either a contributory or non-contributory basis.
