January 11: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has honored Ncell for contributing highest amount of advertisement tax in the last FY 2015/16. KMC honored Ncell with this felicitation amidst a program organized by KMC Office on Monday. 

Amidst a program organized by KMC Office to unveil budget plans and programs approved by 29th KMC Council meeting, Ncell was conferred with a letter of appreciation. Hitraj Pandey,Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development and chief guest of the function conferred the appreciation letter to Ncell. The appreciation letter mentioned ‘ Ncell has been honored for its remarkable contribution in the development of the metropolitan city by making contribution of highest amount of advertisement tax for the fiscal year 2015/16’. In the fiscal year 2015/16, KMC collected NPR 41.7 million advertisement tax among which one third of the contribution was by Ncell.
