Nepal Telecom has reduced the tariff for outgoing calls to India, offering a more affordable rate to its customers.

According to a press release issued by the state-owned telecom company, the new rate for calls using access code 1424 is now Rs 3.76 per minute (excluding taxes). The revised tariff, approved by the Nepal Telecommunications Authority, has been effective since January 1, 2025.

Additionally, the pulse rate for outgoing calls to India using access codes 1424, 1425, and 1445 has been standardized at 60 seconds.

Nepal Telecom stated that this initiative aims to provide better connectivity at competitive rates for its users.
