Nepal is set to showcase its IT-enabled Services (ITES) potential at Tech Peak Nepal: Orlando 2025. Organized by the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (AmCham Nepal), the event will highlight Nepal’s growing IT and outsourcing industry on the global stage.
The roadshow, scheduled for March 24–27 at the Shared Services & Outsourcing Week (SSOW) Conference in Orlando, Florida, is the premier gathering for outsourcing professionals, attracting over 1,000 industry leaders worldwide.
Nepal’s IT sector has witnessed significant growth in recent years. In 2022 alone, the country exported IT services worth $515.4 million—an impressive 64.2% increase from the previous year. The industry now contributes 1.4% to Nepal’s GDP and 5.5% to its foreign exchange reserves.
In the first four months of the current fiscal year, IT service exports surged by 20.28%, generating Rs 6.69 billion. Recognizing the industry’s potential, the government declared 2024-2034 as the ‘Decade of Information Technology’, aiming to create 1.5 million jobs and achieve IT exports worth Rs 3 trillion.
A key highlight of Tech Peak Nepal: Orlando 2025 will be the ‘Nepal Pavilion’, a dedicated exhibition space showcasing Nepal’s ITES capabilities, outsourcing potential, and business-friendly policies. It will feature interactive booths, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities with global IT leaders. Nepali firms will present their expertise alongside industry giants such as IBM, Infosys, and PwC.
The initiative comes at a time when recent government policy changes have allowed Nepali IT firms to establish overseas branches, invest internationally, and legally repatriate earnings.
The global outsourcing services market, valued at $854.6 billion in 2025, is projected to reach $1.11 trillion by 2030. Countries like India and the Philippines have long dominated this space.
Participation in Tech Peak Nepal: Orlando 2025 will provide Nepali companies with direct access to potential investors, venture capitalists, and global business leaders seeking high-quality outsourcing solutions. The event will also feature investment matchmaking sessions, panel discussions, and exclusive networking opportunities.
