ZTE Corporation has re-entered Nepali market, launching five new smartphones. The devices, from ZTE’s Blade A and nubia series, were unveiled at an event held in Kathmandu on Sunday, March 23.
Launched in partnership with Shanker Group, ZTE's new distributor for Nepal, the new models include Blade A75, Blade A35e, Blade A55, Nubia V70 Max, and Nubia V70 Design. They are equipped with powerful processors, AI cameras, and durable batteries, while remaining affordable, according to its distributor.
ZTE’s CEO for Nepal, Sabin Shrestha, said the partnership with Shanker Group would help expand the company’s footprint in the country, leveraging Shanker’s extensive distribution network and market expertise. “This collaboration will accelerate the deployment of innovative telecom solutions in Nepal,” he added.
Saksham Jatia, Executive Director of Shanker Group, noted the strategic significance of the launch, stating, “We are excited to offer Nepali consumers a range of innovative smartphones with cutting-edge technology and an excellent price-performance ratio.”

ZTE first entered Nepal’s telecom market in 2005, introducing mobile data services in collaboration with Nepal Telecom. In 2016, the company released affordable smartphone models such as the Blade S6, D2, and D3.
