A 14-member delegation from the National Forum of Photojournalists (NFPJ) has departed for China to participate in a photography exhibition.
Led by NFPJ Central Chairperson Pradeep Raj Onta, the team is visiting Shandong Province at the invitation of the Binzhou Photographers Association.
The exhibition, titled “Flying Over the Himalayas: Shandong Cultural Week and Mesmerizing Nepal” is a collaborative initiative with renowned Chinese photographer Su Xue and the Nepal-China Friendship Association.
It will showcase around 100 stunning photographs highlighting Nepal’s tourism, art, culture, lifestyle, and diversity. According to Sunil Sharma, coordinator of the visit, the exhibition will run for a month in various cities across Shandong.
This initiative seeks to strengthen ties between photographers and photojournalists from Nepal and China while promoting cultural and tourism exchanges. During the visit, the team will also explore prominent educational and tourist destinations in China.
