December 29: Patan High Court (PHC) has released the obstacle on the purchase of online trading platform of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). On Wednesday, December 28, the joint bench of justice duo Neeta Gautam and Bal Krishna Upreti reversed the decision taken by Kathmandu District Court paving a way for NEPSE to purchase online trading platform. Moreover, the court also ordered to implement the agreement between NEPSE and YCO Company regarding software purchase on March 2016.
Earlier, NEPSE entered into an agreement with software vendor, YCO, to purchase the online trading platform so that to introduce the fully automated online trading platform in the domestic securities market. As per the agreement, the software is required to be installed within 10-14 months of period.
