April 14: Prabhu Money Transfer is offering Nepal Telecom’s 3G SIM or R-UIM card having talk value of Rs 50 for free to its customers. Starting from Baisakh 1, the cards will be provided to the customers on receiving the payments of remittances.
“All preparations of SIM card distribution have been complete in Eastern, Mid-West and Far-West regions. The distribution arrangements in other regions will be completed within the coming week,” informs the company issuing a press statement.
SIM card activation and details will be done by the sub-agents of Prabhu Money Transfer and Co-operative Organizations (excluding banks and financial institutions).According to the company, customers withdrawing money from banks and financial institutions can also apply to sub-agents with the number they get while receiving money. The company aims to distribute 300,000 SIM and R-UIM cards during the offer period.
