The selection process for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has advanced, with the recommendation committee shortlisting five candidates for the final round of evaluation.
Out of ten applicants, the recommendation committee has selected Chudamani Chapagai, Narad Kumar Luitel, Purna Prasad Acharya, Badri Prasad Pyakurel, and Hemanta Basyal for the next phase. These candidates will now present their action plans and undergo an interview scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, at 7:00 AM at the Ministry of Finance.
The position has remained vacant since February 6, 2025, following the completion of Krishna Prasad Karki’s tenure. To ensure a competitive selection, the government opened applications for the position, attracting ten candidates.
Under the coordination of Sebantak Pokharel, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, the recommendation committee includes Joint Secretary Amrit Lamsal and Dr. Khomraj Kharal as members.
