The 12th edition of the International Tattoo Convention, which began on Friday, April 11, at Heritage Garden in Lalitpur, is set to wrap up on Sunday.
Bringing together a vibrant mix of talent, the three-day event featured over 200 tattoo artists from 22 countries—including Nepal, India, the United States, Italy, Australia, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Spain, Germany, China, and Indonesia. The convention, organised by Nepal Tattoo Pvt. Ltd., drew a large and enthusiastic crowd, particularly among the youth, reflecting the growing popularity of body art in Nepal.
By Sunday afternoon, organizers reported that approximately 2,000 people had visited the convention. Many attendees opted to get tattooed on-site, spending anywhere from Rs 20,000 to Rs 400,000, depending on the design and artist, some artists said.
Entry tickets were priced at Rs 200 per person.
