September 27: National Biotech, a research and manufacturing unit based in Lalitpur’s Bajrabarahi Municipality, has recently introduced the 1st ever locally manufactured Organic Fertilizer under the brand name “Saathi”. Issuing a press statement, the company claims that the fertilizers are produced employing the latest technological innovation and discoveries in the field of agricultural science. 

According to the statement, Saathi fertilizers comprise of a revolutionary component called Ketonite that help to fight with germs found in plants other than the basic nutrient composition like Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Iron, Manganese, Copper, Zinc and Baron found in regular fertilizers. It also aids in the healthy growth of soil, increases soil fertility and highly reduces acidity found in soil. The company informed that the another USP of the fertilizer is that it is completely odourless and full of healthy bacteria that enriches the good qualities of the soil.

“Saathi Fertilizers have been certified by Aditi Organic Certifications, which confirms that the Saathi range of fertilizers manufactured by National Biotech is in compliance with organic production procedures as allowed/restricted under NPOP, COS and NOP, USDA Standards,” reads the statement.
