February 15: Shine Resunga Development Bank has started a branch at Kharjyang of Gulmi. The bank having workstation at 10 districts now has 27 branches and two extension counters with the addition.  With the paid-up capital of Rs 1.1 billion, the bank collected Rs 9.20 billion deposits and extended Rs 8.17 billion loans within mid-January 2017. "During the period, the bank earned Rs 260.8 million operating profit," said Prakash Poudel, CEO of the bank.
