December 29: Chandragiri hill, one of the prime tourist destinations on the outskirts of Kathmandu Valley, has witnessed snowfall this morning (December 29).    
Snowfall occurred in Chandragiri hill this morning following light rainfall since last night. This is the first time snowfall capped the Chandragiri hill in the winter this year.    
General Manager of Chandragiri Hills Limited, Abhishek Bikram Shah, informed that inflow of tourists to the hill has increased to take joy of snowfall since this morning.    
Snowfall has also occurred in high hills and mountainous regions of the country with the change in weather since the last few days. According to the Weather Forecasting and Meteorology Division, light drizzle took place in different parts of the country since last night.    
Kathmandu valley has witnessed a fall in mercury level with rainfall since last night. -- RSS
