April 4: Sunrise Bank has provided the insurance amount to its account holding customers. The bank provided the amount under its ‘Health Insurance Service’.

The bank’s Deputy General Manager, Apachh Kumar Yadav handed over Rs 22,063 to its customer at Bhaktapur branch, Rajendra Kumar Shakhakarmi for the operation of appendicitis. Under the Health Insurance Service, the bank’s depositors can claim amount lower than 25 percent of the average annual deposit not exceeding Rs 100,000 or actual bill expenses of their health treatment.
