July 20: Sipradi Trading, the authorised distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal has launched all new Chassis Tata LPO 1618 /62 in the market. The company unveiled the new bus Chassis amid a function held at Sipradi Corporate office, Naikap on July 18. The company honoured first five customers of the bus chassis along with the bus operator Shree Manjushree Bus Operating Committee.
The bus which is 12 meters long has a wide body can accommodate 45 reclining seats with slipper berth and is fitted with pneumatic suspension. “The Chassis is powered by Tata Cummins Turbocharged/ Intercooled diesel engine,” informed Rajan Babu Shrestha, CEO of Sipradi Trading. Shrestha said that the bus ensures security and assures comfortable ride to the passengers.
The new chassis comes with features like anti-lock breaking system and Voith Hydrodynamic Retarder, two 95/90 R 22.5-16 PR sized radial tyres. According to the company, the new chassis is appropriate for rides both inside and outside city areas.
“The engine producing 180 HP and 675 Nm torque gives the bus excellent load bearing capacity on difficult terrains,” said Shrestha. He further briefed that apart from this feature, the 14-inch diameter clutch plate, G-600 gear box with Over Drive Mechanism and proportion of 41/7 adjustment of crown, the bus gives high speed consuming less fuel. The company is providing a warranty of three years or 300,000 kilometers to its customers on the purchase of the chassis.
