Citizens Bank Funds School Reconstruction

June 30: Citizens Bank International Limited has provided financial assistance to a school damaged by an earthquake in Bajhang. Under its corporate social responsibility initiative, the bank has donated one lakh rupees for the reconstruction of Bal Bikash Secondary School located in Golai, Bajhang.

The earthquake that struck last October had damaged the school's classrooms, affecting the teaching and learning process. In a statement, the bank stated that the assistance will make teaching and learning more convenient. Approximately 300 students currently studying at the school, which offers classes from grades 1 to 12.

The bank has been offering banking services to 1,759,000 customers through its 192 branches, 155 ATMs, and 98 branchless banking units spread across the country.
