An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale struck Sindhupalchowk district today, April 25, with its epicentre located in Phulpingkot. The tremor was recorded at 11:57 a.m., according to the Earthquake Measurement and Monitoring Centre in Lainchaur.

A day earlier, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake had hit Rukum East at 7:34 p.m., with its epicentre at Ranmamaikot. -- RSS
