The excessive heat in the Kathmandu Valley is expected to ease starting Sunday, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
The Department stated that temperatures are likely to drop following rainfall expected from next week. However, Saturday is forecast to remain hot, with maximum temperatures ranging between 31°C and 34°C.
Nationwide, fair weather is expected today, April 25, except for partly to generally cloudy conditions in the hill areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. There are also chances of light rain with thunder and lightning at one or two locations in the hill regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali.-- RSS
