February 28: Hotel Central Plaza in Kohalpur, Banke has received the five-star status. The hotel situated in Kohalpur Municipality ward number four received the five-star status from the Department of Tourism on Tuesday, February 26.

 The hotel constructed with an investment of Rs 600 million in an area of 16 ropanies of land started its operation a year ago.

Dewanand Aryal, managing director of Hotel Central Plaza, informed New Business Age that the representatives from the Department of Tourism decided to award the five-star status after inspecting the infrastructure of the hotel.    

The hotel which previously operated with four-start status has become the second five-star hotel in Banke. Soltee Westend Premium recently received the five-star status followed by Hotel Central Plaza.
