The global mobility and urban services platform, inDrive, has announced the launch of its new "inDrive Comfort" feature in Nepal, aimed at providing passengers a more comfortable, premium ride option.
“The inDrive Comfort feature offers passengers access to a premium fleet of vehicles with enhanced amenities and added space,” reads the statement issued on Monday, November 11. “Comfort rides are tailored for those looking to travel in style, with high-quality vehicles and top-rated drivers dedicated to providing a superior level of service.”
“With inDrive Comfort, passengers can look forward to a ride that is spacious, enjoyable, and fair price, while our driver partners gain more opportunities to provide top-notch service," the statement quotes Avik Karmakar, Senior Marketing Manager at inDrive for South Asia, as saying.
Among the inDrive's Comfort features are better quality cars for a comfortable ride, Sedan class vehicles with spacious interiors, fair pricing for a premium experience, and a comfortable, spacious, and hassle-free ride.
The introduction of inDrive Comfort rides adds another layer of choice for passengers, who can now select between standard rides and a premium inDrive Comfort experience based on their travel needs, the company said. “This feature is also beneficial for drivers who maintain high ratings and drive premium vehicles, providing them the opportunity to earn more through inDrive Comfort rides.”
Pavit Nanda Anand, Asia Pacific Communications Lead, inDrive, added, “We're giving both the driver and passenger the freedom to kind of choose their own adventure.”
The inDrive app has been downloaded over 200 million times, and was the second most downloaded mobility app in 2022 and 2023, according to the statement. In addition to ride-hailing, inDrive provides an expanding list of urban services, including intercity transportation, freight delivery, task assistance and courier delivery.
It operates in 749 cities in 46 countries.
