April 24: Janata Bank has provided financial help to Dharan-based 'Help to the Helpless Council'. The bank said it provided Rs 100,000 to the organization under its corporate social responsibility.

Branch Manager of the Itahari branch of the bank, Sujan Shrestha, handed over the amount to the council's chairman Chakra Bahadur Shankar. The council has been contributing to the education and skill development of children.
