July 5: LIC Nepal has handed over insurance to family of Anil Gurung, a resident of Panchamul, Adhikhola-1 of Syangja district, who had died in a road accident.

The company's Pokhara branch chief Ganesh Upreti handed over around Rs 5.68 million to the victim’s father Gam Bahadur Gurung, after visiting his home at Milanchowk in Pokhara- Lekhnath-15, recently.

Late Gurung had bought an insurance policy worth Rs 2.6 million in 2016, and had paid a premium of only Rs 514,020 in three installments.
