October 8: Machhapuchhre Bank Limited handed over disaster management equipment to Nepal Police amid a recent event.
During the hand-over ceremony, the bank’s chairman Roshan KC praised the works of Nepal Police in disaster management and expressed his belief that the equipment provided by the bank would be helpful in making rescue works in all seven provinces more effective.
The bank said in a statement that it provided equipment worth Rs 5.5 million to Nepal Police. The equipment includes search and rescue tools, fire extinguishers, ropes and water rescue equipment as well as rafts.
According to the bank, it provided the equipment as part of its corporate social responsibility.
