May 31: Nepali Ghar Hotel announced its formal opening on Wednesday, May 30. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari inaugurated the hotel amidst a function held at the hotel premises in Thamel.
Located in a tourist hub, Nepali Ghar Hotel is designed and crafted in a traditional Nepalese way to provide an authentic experience to the guests, said Raju Shrestha, Managing Director of the Hotel. According to him, the interiors of the hotel are decorated by local artists with distinctive Nepali style.
Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the hotel offers all modern amenities such as comfortable rooms, complimentary wifi access, 24/7 fitness center, meeting room, all day dining restaurant and room service.
The hotel said that it assures a memorable experience to its customers through genuine Nepali-style hospitality, which is the core value of the hotel.
"Nepali Ghar Hotel aims to offer unique flavour of hospitality and culture and is committed to achieve new standard of excellence to address all needs of our valued customers," MD Shrestha said during the inauguration.

According to him, the hotel offers 34 rooms including two suites--Kailashkut and Mangriha. Each room is equipped with 40 inch LED TV, bottled water, cotton rich linen, electronic safe (laptop size), individual climate control system, mini bar with refrigerator, tea/coffee maker with cookies and high-speed internet access. Rooms are decorated with traditional Nepali artistry.
It also offers complimentary valet parking, airport drop and pick-up facility, foreign exchange, in-room dining, and laundry service.
The hotel lies close to popular attractions like the Garden of Dreams, Narayanhiti Palace Museum and Kathmandu Durbar Square, and is only 5 km from Tribhuvan International Airport.
