April 15: Norvic International Hospital has announced a discount of 20 percent for the locals of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Ward no 11 on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.
Rajendra Bahadur Singh, executive director of the hospital, and Hiralal Tandukar, chairman of KMC Ward no 11 signed an agreement in this regard on Saturday, April 14.
The hospital on the occasion of its silver jubilee also handed over a cheque of Rs 2.5 million to a group of five women journalists attempting to climb Mt Everest this season.
Speaking at the event, Member of Parliament Prakash Man Singh congratulated and appreciated the hospital for providing international standard heath service to the patients.
Chief guest Prakash Man Singh said that the growth of private sector of the country and their contribution to the national economy is a result of the liberal economic policy adopted by the government. He praised Norvic Hospital for moving a step ahead by upgrading itself to an internal-standard hospital.
The hospital's Executive Director Rajendra Bahadur Singh praised the contribution of the staff members of the hospital, their dedication and devotion in to lead the hospital to the present state.
Chairman of Norvic Hospital Basanta Chaudhary said that the hospital which began with 25 beds has created a golden history after 25 springs.
