After two year’s absence, Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) participated in the World Travel Market (WTM) 2024 in London, advocating the need of international cooperation for promoting the country's tourism sector.
In the three-day event, which concluded on November 7, the NTB presented the potential of Nepal to become a premier destination for adventurous and sustainable tourism, reported RSS, the state-owned news agency.
The WTM 2024 brought together 43,000 participants from 184 countries and featured 82 sessions. Held every November, it is regarded as the second largest travel and tourism festival, after the International Tourism Exchange (ITB) which takes place each March in Berlin, Germany. The Board, however, did not participate in both forums in the last two years.
