August 24: Radisson Hotel, Kathmandu has appointed Subrat Banerjee as its general manager. The hotel informed on Wednesday that Banarjee was appointed to the post on July 31. Before assuming his new responsibilities, Banerjee had been working as the general manager of Hyderabad-based Radisson Hyderabad High Tech City. He has been working in the field of hotel management ever since 1998 after completing his diploma in hotel management from Bhuwaneshwar-based Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition. He has held the post of general manager of various hotels in India including Holiday Inn, Carlson Hotel among others.
