September 5: Sanima Bank has signed the Interbank Payment System (NCHL-IPS) with Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL). Neelesh Man Singh Pradhan, CEO of NCHL and Bhuwan Kumar Dahal, CEO of Sanima Bank signed the agreement to this effect.

As per the agreement, NCHL will provide NCHL-IPS service for electronic payment system to Sanima Bank.

Customers of the NCHL-IPS member banks and other financial institutions can receive and make payments directly within the system. The member banks can make payments of dividends, IPO refund, bill, pension, remittance, premium and social security allowances directly to the customers’ account.  Along with the agreement, all 28 commercial banks operating in the country has become the members of NCHL-IPS.
