Sarbottam Cement Ltd., through its subsidiary Sarbottam Holdings, has acquired Shubha Shree Jagdamba Cement Mills Ltd. and Jagadamba Cement Pvt. Ltd.  

The acquisition was disclosed in the minutes of Sarbottam Cement’s sixth annual general meeting, which was submitted to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).  

According to the company, it purchased shares of Shubha Shree Jagdamba Cement Mills at Rs 100 per unit and those of Jagadamba Cement at Rs 15 per unit.  

Bishnu Prasad Neupane, Chairman of Sarbottam Cement, stated in the minutes that the acquisition would strengthen the company by capitalizing on the 22-year-old brand’s market presence and extensive dealer network.
