January 16: Following the tragic plane crash in Pokhara, Yeti Airlines has cancelled all regular flights scheduled for Monday.
Issuing a press statement on Sunday, the airlines said that it had cancelled all regular flights to mourn the deaths of passengers, who lost their lives in the crash in Pokhara.
Emergency and rescue flights, however, will operate smoothly.
ATR-72 plane belonging to Yeti Airlines carrying 72 people including 68 passengers and four crew members had crashed in Pokhara on Sunday morning.
The plane that took off from Tribhuvan International Airport at 10:33 am had crashed and caught fire in an attempt to land in Pokhara.
Meanwhile, the government has decided to give a public holiday on Monday to observe national day of mourning for victims of the tragic air disaster in the tourist town of Pokhara.
The national flag will be hoisted on half-mast to mourn the loss of lives.
