Buddha Air’s 10th ATR aircraft lands in Nepal

March 19: The 10th ATR aircraft of Budhha Air, Nepal’s leading domestic airline operator, has landedin Kathmandu.
 
The brand new ATR-72 series aircraft belonging to Buddha Air with call sign 9N-AMY landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday, March 18 evening . 
 
According to a statement, the airline acquired the brand new ATR-72 aircraft by investing Rs 1 billion, with the aim to extend its international flights to India. 
 
The airline is shortly starting its direct flights to Kolkata, India and aims to operate the new aircraft in the same route.
 
The fleet count of Budhha Air has now reached twelve aircraft with the arrival of the new ATR-72 on Monday. The airline presently ownsten ATR and two Beech aircraft. 
 
Buddha Air has three ATR-42, seven ATR-72 and two Beech aircraft.
