CMT Resort of Bharatpur gets Three-Star Rating

April 26: Chitwan Mid Town (CMT) Resort, located in Ward No. 9 of Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality, near Hakim Chowk, has received the recognition of three-star hotel.

CMT Resort, operating on an area of 72,900 sq. feet, has received three-star rating from the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

Madan Ghimire, the managing director of the resort, informed that this is the first resort in the Bharatpur metropolitan city to receive three-star recognition.

The resort is being operated by a board of directors team of five people with a collective investment of people involved in various professions and businesses.

The resort accommodates a 12,300 square feet town hall that can accommodate more than 2,000 people, a 2,790 square feet meeting hall that can accommodate 500 people, a 1,881 square feet hall that can accommodate 200 people, a 350 square feet conference hall and business halls, and an open kitchen. 

The resort has 45 rooms with state-of-the-art facilities. Likewise, the resort provides direct employment to 85 individuals and indirect jobs to some. 

Food items produced by local farmers are the specialty of the resort.

The resort has good parking space, a swimming pool, and garden facilities. 

The resort is connected to Mahendra Highway and can be reached in 5 minutes from Bharatpur Airport. According to managing director Ghimire, a separate charging point has also been installed for EVs (electric vehicles) on the resort premises.
