Int’l Trade Fair and Innovation Expo Concludes

April 25: The 13th International Trade Fair and Innovation Expo- 2017 organized at Bhrikutimandap concluded on April 24 doing business of more than Rs 70 million.

According to Shyam Prasad Giri, President of the Federation of Cottage and Small Industries (FNCSI), some 125,000 visitors visited the Expo.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Expo, Nabindra Raj Joshi, Chief Guest and Minister of Industry said that the government is ready to support small and cottage industries which are contributing to the economy of the country. “For this, traders and entrepreneurs must improve quality of products and expand the market”, he added.

President of FNCSI, Giri said the Expo with the slogan “Let’s use Nepali products, let’s be proud of being Nepalis” had all types of industrial products manufactured in the country. Similarly, interaction was also held in B2B and B2C levels with innovators and traders in the Expo.
