NMB Bank has started providing loan without collateral. The inititive in partnership with Employment Fund Secretariat was started on December 7 from bank's Dhangadhi branch when CEO of the bank Upendra Poudyal handed over Rs 240,000 to six youths as loan. On the occasion, Poudyal said that if the campaign becomes successful in the Far West, it will be expanded to other places as well.

Three youths from Kailali and three from Kanchanpur were provided loan on the basis of recommendation of employment and training organisations operated by the fund. Youths said they were encouraged to receive loan when they did not have enough money to invest in their business. Similarly, 50 other youths from Banke, Kailali, Kanchanpur and other districts from the region are selected for such loan.
