August 4: Asha Microfinance Institute has opened three new branches in eastern Nepal. The new branches have come into operation since August 3 at Urlabari of Mroang and Jhapa’s Surunga and Budhabare. The microfinance company informed that it established the new branches with an aim to make microfinance service available for the locals and well as to involve them in entrepreneurship.
