Wataniya Airways begins KTM- Kuwait flights

December 10: Wataniya Airways, a private airlines company of Kuwait, has announced flight operations to and fro Kathmandu since December 6.

With the beginning of this service, Wataniya Airways claimed that is has become the first airlines to provide direct service from Kuwait to Nepal.

“This service has been started firstly looking forward to connect Kuwaiti people to Nepal for tourism and secondly provide hassle free service to Nepali workers travelling to Kuwait at affordable fares,” reads a statement issued by the airlines company.

The company has kept the starting fare to Kuwait at NRs 23,000.

Wataniya Airways with its three A-320 aircrafts currently flies to 11 destinations across the world with a very good connection from Kathmandu to Doha/Bahrain/Baku and many more destinations, according to the company.

“We expect this will help Nepal Tourism and Nepali people in a good way. We are sure, it is going to help create more job opportunities for Nepalis in Kuwait,” said Rupesh Jha, Kathmandu’s station manager of Wataniya Airways.
