Two Chinese-made Aircrafts Arrive at TIA

February 14: Two more Chinese-made aircrafts belonging to Nepal Airlines Corporation have finally arrived in Nepal. The two Y-12 Series of Harbin Aircraft Industry landed in Kathmandu on Tuesday, February 13.  The aircrafts were delivered by the pilots of the company.

The deal for the aircrafts with call sign 9N-Q and 9N-KV was made long ago but the aircrafts were yet to be delivered by the company. NAC’s spokesperson Rabindra Shrestha informed that the 17-seater aircrafts can land in short and narrow runways of remote areas.

The government of Nepal and the Chinese government had signed an agreement for two aircrafts under the Chinese grant and four under concessional loan scheme.
