July 2: MAW Earthmovers Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of JCB construction and heavy equipment in Nepal, organised a trip for its customers to the company's plant in Pune, India. During the four-day visit, the Nepali customers witnessed the process of manufacturing of the heavy equipment of JCB brand.

"During the visit, our valued customers observed the process of how the machines are built from the delivery of the sheet steel, profiling, laser cutting, welding, paint shop, assembly and finally the finished product," the company said in a statement.

According to the company, the customers also inspected the complete range of JCB excavators in the same platform. JCB said it manufactures excavators ranging from 3 tons to 38 tons to provide solution to customers as per their requirement.

The customers also enjoyed the Pune tour as well as their visit to the classic Khandala and the beach of Mumbai, the company said in the statement.

JCB said it is one of the world's top three manufacturers of construction equipment that employs around 12,000 people on four continents and sells products in 150 countries through 2,000 dealer depots.
