The new version of BYD ATTO 3 has been officially launched in Nepal by Cimex Inc., the authorised distributor of BYD in Nepal.
The car was revealed amid an event at Durbar Marg in Kathmandu on Sunday. Among the guests in the event were former banker Anil Keshari Shah, singer Wangden Phintso Sherpa, and comedian Hari Bansha Acharya who is the brand ambassador of BYD Nepal.
Acharya handed over the vehicle to the first customer during the event, while other guests distributed keys to other buyers.
The 2024 BYD ATTO 3 comes with several upgrades designed to enhance the driving experience.
Available in four colours—Cosmos Black, Ski White, Boulder Gray, and Surf Blue—the new model sports a refreshed exterior with a streamlined BYD logo and a black D-pillar for a sportier appearance. The interior features a modern black and blue colour scheme.
Key upgrades include a revamped infotainment system and the introduction of a new BYD app which allows users to monitor the vehicle’s range and power levels, tire pressure, and ensure all doors and windows are secure.
It also offers remote tracking, control of air conditioning, horn, and lights, and features a 'Camping Mode' in the D-Link system for added versatility.
The BYD ATTO 3 2024 is available in two variants: Advanced and Superior. The Advanced model comes with a 49.92 kWh battery pack and is priced at Rs 5.69 million, while the Superior model features a 60.48 kWh battery pack and is priced at Rs 6.78 million. Both variants are powered by a 100 kW motor.
