September 4: Muktinath Bikas Bank has opened a branch at Jorpati of Gokarneshwar Municipality-5, Kathmandu. Shiba Raj Shrestha, one of the deputy governors of Nepal Rastra Bank, inaugurated the bank amid a function on Monday, September 3.

According to the CEO of the bank, Pradyuman Pokharel, the newly opened branch will help in the financial transaction of the locals and the entrepreneurs of the area. With this, the bank said it has 12 branches in the Kathmandu valley.
