Industrialist and Nepali Congress MP Binod Chaudhary's wealth has reached $2 billion (over Rs 274 billion) in 2025, according to Forbes. His fortune grew by $200 million (Rs 27.41 billion) compared to 2024.
Forbes, which annually ranks the world's richest individuals, reported that Chaudhary’s wealth stood at $1.4 billion in 2020 and 2021 and has increased every year since. He is now ranked 1,763rd among global billionaires.
Chaudhary, 69, owns CG Corp Global, which operates CG Foods, Nepal’s well-known noodle manufacturer, and holds a controlling stake in Nabil Bank. His business empire spans multiple countries, with factories in India, Serbia, and Bangladesh. Forbes also noted that a WaiWai noodle factory is under construction in Egypt, and the company is expanding into sausage production.
CG Corp Global manages 143 hotels worldwide, including luxury properties developed in partnership with India’s Taj Hotel chain.
Elon Musk Tops Billionaires’ List
Elon Musk has been declared the world’s richest person, with a net worth of $342 billion in 2025, according to Forbes. His wealth increased by $147 billion over the past year, driven by a surge in the stock prices of his space company, SpaceX, and artificial intelligence firm, XAI.
Although Tesla’s stock price has declined since Musk joined the Trump administration as head of the Department of Government Efficiency, its valuation remains higher than the previous year.
Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg ranks second with a net worth of $216 billion, followed by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos at $215 billion.
