June 19: Prabhu Group has started the broadcasting of Prabhu TV based on high quality digital broadcasting (DVB T2) technology. Devi Prakash Bhattachan, chairman of the Group inaugurated the TV channel amid a press conference on Sunday, June 17.

The TV channel can be watched on various national and international broadbands. Similarly, the channel can be watched on smartphones, tablets and laptops as well via Over The Top (OTT) application, said the company.

According to Bhattachan, subscribers can watch all the local television channels with the purchase of its authorised set-up box and antenna. Likewise other international TV channels and special programmes can be watched at a reasonable price.

The channel is available in Kathmandu, Chitwan and Pokhara in the initial phase. The group is preparing to extend the service in other places as well.
