Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of diesel and kerosene by Re 1 per litre effective from Friday, November 1.
With the price adjustment, diesel will now cost Rs 147.50 per litre in Category A, Rs 149 for Category B and Rs 150 per litre for category C.
The NOC classifies Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birganj depots as Category A, Surkhet and Dang as Category B and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal depots as Category C.
The price was adjusted as per the new purchase price received from the Indian Oil Corporation. As per the new list received by NOC from its sole supplier, the price of petrol and diesel have decreased by Rs 0.25 per litre and Rs 1.04 per litre respectively. However, NOC only adjusted the prices of diesel and kerosene. -- RSS
