August 1: Thai Airways has organized a blood donation camp and cardio health check-up in remembrance of the 1992 air disaster. Altogether 120 people donated blood during the programme organized at Hotel Annapurna on July 31. The participants were provided free health check-up by a team of doctors from Shahid Gangalal Heart Centre. Thai ambassador to Nepal Bhakavat Tanskul handed over token of love to the participants. During the occasion, Thai Airways announced that it will organize such events every year on July 31 in remembrance of the people who lost their lives in the plane crash.
